Join us again at the Burford Branch on March 26 at 6:30- 8 pm for " Honey I Shrunk the Lawn!" and learn how to reduce turf and replace with gardens. More information here to register!

 Join us for an informative and hands-on Gardening Workshop where you’ll learn how to successfully grow native plants in clay soil. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gardener, this event will provide valuable insights from an expert speaker.

    Event Highlights:

 Join the Grand Erie Master Gardeners for an enjoyable day learning, gardening, exploring and absorbing some beautiful historical scenes.

• Master Gardener Kevin Kavanagh, will speak on the topic of gardening with native plants in clay soils.
• Hands on workshop planting native plants
• A complimentary Lunch will be provided by the Carolinian Café, a local café using Canadian-sourced meat and produce.
• Guided Walk in the Woods to explore local native plants in their natural Carolinian Forest habitat.
• Tour of the Historic Mansion on-site. Ruthven Park is a National Historic site.

           Join Us on Sunday, April 27 11am-4pm.

Stay tuned for the announcement of our 2025 Native plant sale in June.  Over 40 native plant varieties will be available. Location within Brant County to be announced! Our plants have been sourced from seed from our Master Gardeners gardens and winter sown by our own members. Species that are available will be listed closer to the event in June. Stay tuned for the Date, Time and Location.
